1. What VoiceGen is

VoiceGen ("we", "us", "the Service") is a text-to-speech and speech-to-text tool. We act purely as an intermediary that converts the text or audio you submit into an improved audio or text output using third-party AI voice and speech-recognition technology. We do not create, review, endorse, or take responsibility for the content of what you choose to generate. You are solely responsible for the text and audio you submit and for how you use the output, and for making sure that use complies with applicable law and with any rights of third parties (for example, rights in a voice, a script, or copyrighted material).

2. Information we collect

• Account information: your email address and a securely hashed password.
• Usage data: the text/audio you submit for processing, the resulting audio/text output, and metadata about each request (timestamp, character or duration count, selected voice, token cost).
• Payment data: when you purchase tokens, our payment partner processes your card details directly — we never see or store your full card number. We keep a record of the transaction (amount, plan, status, date) for accounting and support purposes.
• Referral data: if you sign up via another user's referral link, we record that relationship so the referring user can be credited.
• Technical data: IP address and basic request logs, used for security and abuse prevention.

3. How we use your information

We use your data to operate the Service: authenticate you, generate the audio/text you request, track your token balance and usage history, process payments, credit referral commissions, prevent abuse, and provide customer support. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data retention

Generated audio files are automatically deleted from our storage a short time after creation (currently 7 days) — download what you need before then. Account and billing records are kept for as long as your account is active, and afterward for as long as needed to meet accounting or legal obligations.

5. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies: one to keep you signed in (session), one to remember your language/theme preference, and one that temporarily records a referral code if you arrived via a referral link. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. We will action deletion requests within a reasonable time, except for records we are legally required to keep (e.g. payment records).

7. Age requirement

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
